Looks like a decent price Dan.

I dunno, the only 2 trees I've bought in the past 20 years, part of the whole shebang was strapping it onto the roof and bringing it home. Part of the "charm" for me.

Needless to say, Christmas depresses the living hell out of me.

That said, great price and convenience, hope they send you a nice one

I'm very strong in my beliefs in supporting local businesses, I work very hard at avoiding those big "chains". I still think there's hope in our economy. Still go to local farms where we cut it and haul it back.

The last couple of years we've bought ours at Costco. The trees they had were beautiful and about 30-40% less than anywhere else.

well, xmas has become such a pain in the a$$,I like this because it's nice & easy.just like 99% of my gift shopping is online.it's more about kids/grandkids lately for me.
it's become so commercial,so busy, most people get rude & in a hurry, kinda tired of all the xmas crap.

I agree with ya there! You'll never catch me out there on Black Friday standing in lines for hours at 2 in the morning.
Prefer to keep it simple, keep it easy.

Cuz we have a daughter, the holiday ritual of going out to pick out a tree is still fun. Quite a few local XMas tree farms to choose from, nice laid back time, local home town stuff.

I went "Art-Oh-Fish-Al" years ago. I told my kids I was not planning on setting up a tree this year. The kids moved out of the house and well lights on the house seemed enough. The kids were not happy with this and said they'd come by, setup and take down the tree this year..... Suckers!

I use to be a big fan of real trees for christmas, but the artificials are just too convenient to avoid any more. Especially the pre-lit ones with the power connectors inside the trunk of the tree.

Me too. We go in the late afternoon and I put spearmint schnapps in the flask and we go on hayride.

Screw XMas. I do believe that the retailers created this crap to begin with.

I was going to post a link to that thread, but the SG search results for "bullsh|t" were too numerous

sometimes you have to think outside the box to get inside the box .

Depends on who the tree is for.

Personally, I'd never want a fake tree.
If I had kids, I wouldn't want a fake tree.

When I have Christmas with my father and sister, I don't want a fake tree.

Nothing against those who do, to me it's all about time spent with those you love, the tree is just icing.
