Not that anyone cares, BUT i'M GOING HOME.

10 weeks in CA come to an end on Monday. I got AA marks for my effort, & was requested for the next ship. The only regret I have is not getting with Dan. I need to make a trip that we can meet in the middle and have a nice few beers and some steaks. 12 hours on the road or on the train is too much. Going to be home for maybe 6 months

Nothing like going home Lefty, especially after an extended stay on the road. Your own pillow & bed are worth their weight in gold for a relaxing good nights sleep

Enjoy & hopefully you can hook up with Dan who seems like a real nice guy somewhere down the road. Cheers

Not to mention my dogs Larry, I miss them when I sometimes pass out on the couch. They like to jump up on the couch and lay down behind my knees. Kinda doggy spooning.

Report from my boss is under budget ahead of time. This was a tough ship to work with but we got her done.

Side note. The USS John Paul Jones (DDG-53) was my first destroyer I tested in Bath Maine. It was really interesting to work the same ship 20 years later.

I test Aegis Navy Ships. I specifically work on Combat systems. Which is anti-air, anti Submarine, Anti-surface, sensors like radars and lastly communications.

My work was new ships construction, but now I work with Aegis Modernization Team (AMT) San Diego where we take old ships and get them up to date with ballistic missile defense.
