I got 12 poinsettias from Lowes on black friday for .99 each.
not really exciting stuff.
but it was easy,I paid for them online on wed and picked them up at around 10 am after the crowds were gone.
So, did anyone get something good for Black Friday/Cyber Monday this year ?
I bought a Sony Alpha NEX-5n from B&H Photo, they had a pretty good deal for Black Friday. I've been waiting for a better price on a smallish aps-c sensor camera (I just refuse to lug a DSLR around) and seems I found it, even if the stock sony e-mount lenses are not very fast.

The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.
A week late...ordered a new laptop for myself, T430S w/8 gigs rammage. Was working at a big accounting office late one evening last week, tired as heck troubleshooting some folder redirection issues they had...and my laptop took a spill off of the desk in their server room. Wasn't a big fall at all...and on a carpet. My laptop has been through far worse falls and even been thrown across a room and stuck into a wall and it still ran. But this was the last straw....so new one on the way, but placed order a lil after black friday.

what brand ? lol
Was a Thinkpad....the cheaper "Edge" model though. It's been through a lot. Normally the "true" Thinkpads (T and X series) are like Ford F-350 trucks...wicked beefy and tough. Got the "Thinkpad Edge" last year just to try it...was only 700 bucks. I'd call it more like Lenovo's Ideal series...for home users, not a true Thinkpad model. Back to the real thing now!
