It would be even funnier if not so true.

    Too true.

Funny watching my friend's sons grow up with a Wii and touch iPod and xBox and cell phones. They know how to use all that stuff and the oldest is 5

A big part of my problems is no kids around anymore to teach Grampa all about these new fangled things.

There was a time i taught them, no more.

Kind of a like story Humboldt, my Ma was having the grandkids for a visit not long ago and the 5yr old girl asked Ma why she didn't have a computer. Ma said she was too old to learn about them and the little one said if you get one Gramma i will teach you how.

Ma simply couldn't get over that and laughed as she told everyone about it.

    New generation, new toys.

My wife said it looks like a picture of me when my dad calls with another problem, lol.

I have a somewhat nice stereo setup in the front room, tuner, cd, 2 amp for bi-amping my speakers... one day the granddaughter wanted to listen to some music (6 years old) and I showed her the proper way and order that everything gets turned on and off. I only had to show her once. I mean damn, sometimes I have to sit and think about it for a couple of seconds before firing it up.

    Hi Easto

The kids are pretty quick these days it seems. Can you recall the hours we spent learning the times tables & today they simply punch in numbers saving all that time to learn other things.

Hang in their Easto it only gets worse for us oldies.
