President Obama Has Private Meeting with Young Stars at Beverly Hilton

What could be the reason for this? The country is in shambles and he's schmoozing with the stars (like he always does), this guy is the biggest embarrassment this country has ever seen as the President. This is the leader of the free world and this is what he does with his time? If he would have done his job for the past 3 years he wouldn't need to get Hollywood schmucks to push for him....... oh yeah, he did do his job the last 3 years, he ran this country into the ground just as he had planned to.

    David,

I'm not sure why you keep defending obama.

I can agree that past presidents have faults but Obama, honestly, has a defineable difference in nature.

    He's left his church.

    He's flipped on gay marriage.

    He's associated with known terrorists.

    He has no experience.

He voted present his whole life.

I'm not a socialist but I signed the book in 1996 that pledge my will to gain it.

    and on and on...

I can understand why you might not like someone who is running against him but seriously?

I just don't get why? What makes people want him? Is it "I can't have a half black president fail" thing?

I'm not sure what it is that beholdens people to him besides the fact that they might have a "robin Hood" attitude towards him.

    I dunno, explain why?

    Hey david..

If Clinton would have said....Ya... I hit that ****.....I'd have voted for him out of respect.

But he lied on national tv to the nation.

    Somehow people think that's ok.

That's why we are f'd up as a nation.

I honestly think so, I don't think he is the be all end all but it seems to me that Obama thinks he is a celebrity rather than the President. He has allowed stars in the Situation Room and other Top Secret areas, he has constantly appeared on talk shows, late night talk shows, dinners with celebrities etc. and he has repeatedly entertained Hollywood stars at the White House as if it is his job..... I think he has MUCH more important things to do. Celebrities have said they are going to call the President about their personal issues as if he is their buddy rather than the President. To me he has downgraded the Presidency to an all new low in terms of prestige, secrecy and class.

When has a president not really been considered a "rock star"? Seriously? Do you not realize that most (if not all) elected officials do not have the people's best interests at heart? Look at every president, senator, etc. in the past and present and tell me they are working "for us".

It's one thing to be considered a rock star and it's another to act like one.

I agree that most politicians do not have the people's best interest at heart, that is why those must be voted out of office and replaced with one's that are there for us. I believe my local Congressman (Randy Forbes) always puts the people first, he actually listens to us and tries his best to do what is best for the people.

Keep believing that. Show me the facts about his non-involvement when dealing with the various lobbyists.

I am lost on these two points. As an aside, I was a UAW member. The value of the organized labor is not lost on me. It is what created the middle class in America.

Would you say that you are objective in these matters? I do not care for Obama. However it is thoroughly disgusting how the GOP has been so unwilling to work with this president. They would honestly allow the citizens of this country suffer than allow him the appearance of success, even if it is something that they wanted.

He has disappointed many of his constituents by not holding true to his campaign promises. It is a matter of ideology, even if it is but a veil. Frankly, most are everyone discontented.
If you do not mind me asking you a question. Do you honestly believe that anyone on the right has your interests at heart?

They all lie. Lying about an indiscretion is the least of Clinton's foibles.

    Long answer.....

My point is that somehow people are beholden to Obama (just think if it was romney who had all this stuff against him) and still love him.

I'm not saying Romney is better but he is the lesser of 2 evils if my only choice is 2.

Would I like an alternative? GOD YES!!!

    How do we get one?

Short answer: Too many stupid people living off the government to make a change.

Ron Paul would be an EXCELLENT alternative. It's a shame that the man doesn't get proper recognition. I do believe that whoever gets elected was "chosen" anyway. Tin foil hat and all. LoL

You never cease to amaze my when dealing with your miserable attitude.

Do you have perpetual pissing in your corn flakes? Is your underwear too tight? Do you not get enough from your wife/girlfriend/boyfriend? Were you dropped as a child? Did your mother not love you? Do you always wake up on the wrong side of the bed?
