    android app question

Looking at AirDroid for my tablet and noticed one of the permissions is "services that cost you money...send SMS messages"

Does this mean the possibility exists for me to make texts at a charge, or that the app might make texts that I have to pay for without approving, or what?

    Thanks

That is because you have the ability to text from your browser with your cell phone.

Yeah, but it's not going to rack up any charges by itself, right?

This is a tablet so I assume any texts I did make would have a charge associated.

I'm not sure how carriers handle text with data only plans. Unless you have a messaging app installed, I would not worry.

An app that just channels? / An app I can use on my phone? / If a Zombie App does not exist?...."Harden the **** Up!", Chopper Reed.

    Make it!.

I jumped into a taxi cab this evening and exclamed, "My House", not home james. The cabi at first was perplexed, then I told him...if you have an I phone in your cab that has had cameras in for 7 years. Why not share the facial/voice regnotion software.

    Thanks 'Pete.

AirDroid is great, makes looking at pics from the tablet or transferring files really quick and easy.
