    Thumbs down Ted Nugent

Is a douchebag of the highest order. I got no issues with a person not liking their President, but veiled threats directed at the President and comments about cutting the heads off of a group of people? What an idiot.

C'mon Roody did you watch and listen to him? It was not at all a threat on anyone's life. Yes he is radical but it may just be what keeps this country from becoming the frog in a pot.

I saw the whole thing. If Obama wins again what about that would have Nugent in jail? I'm open to clarifications, but I'm hardly the only one who questioned if that was a threat. Nugent has made threatening remarks before towards him so it's hardly difficult to see him doing it again.

Seriously, you really started this thread??????????????????????????????

It was VERY obvious he was using "chop their heads off" as if he were in the times of Braverheart, which what would have been done then.

Chop their heads off = vote them out of office...... if you can't see that I truly question your intelligence.

the purpose of this thread was to point out another extreme remark that Nugent made to express his views. admittedly its not as bad as his "suck on my machine gun" remark he made in the past.

I'd like to think you don't share in Mark's support for a known pedophile?

I don't support him at all, I'm just questioning why you would start a thread over this when it is so obvious what he meant.

My reasoning was clarified. Nugent with his past remarks on a comparable issue is the last person who should be making statements or analogies like that. He would be better served to find a better way to voice his displeasure.

Nugent has made other extreme comments on various stages as well. He makes good points at times but also does go over the line.

He is on record admitting to having sex numerous times with underage girls and in one known case the girl was as young as 14 years old all while he was an adult. In hindsight the use of the word pedophile was melodramatic, but if nothing else his actions define statutory rape. In the "big picture" as you put it Nugent is a vile human being and not exactly the kind of person anyone should be praising.

His comments last week along with his past history of violent remarks towards the President along with his own history of statutory rape is proof positive that the guy is a douchebag. I get it that some don't like Obama. That's perfectly fine, but praising Nugent? That's pretty messed up Mark.

Nugent believes in the Constitution as it was written by our founding fathers. He is absolutely correct in fighting to defend our freedoms. If your happy with the way this current administration is run amok, where the entire checks and balances system has been compromised, then hey, what can say. I'm still asking myself daily what the hell is wrong with our military leaders. Are they not sworn to defend the constitution against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC?

The bigger issue is, this country is not being run by the government, but by the Elites. Until you wake up and realize that, everything else you do is futile. How do you stop someone or more, with so much money that they can bankrupt nations at a time? You can't, hence, we are all screwed.

Dear God blebs what's the matter with you? I get that you dislike Obama, but this has more to do with Nugent's violent remarks directed at the President both recently and in the past. This thread has nothing to do with the constitution it has to do with how Nugent expressed his views as I have said repeatedly. Are you actually saying you condone violent remarks against a President?

    It's called an analogy:

    analogy   [uh-nal-uh-jee]

    1. a similarity between like features of two things, on which a comparison may be based: the analogy between the heart and a pump.

Apparently liberals don't get it, why should they they don't get what is going on in this country.

Roody, if you seriously don't see what Obama, not the Democrat Party (they are starting to see it now) is doing to this country then I truly pity you.

Your credibility on anything dealing with Obama is already shot dude. The moment you called Obama a socialist and used the bank/car industry as your example and then gave Bush a pass for doing the same thing you lost your credibility. I got no issues with Obama criticism if people are being consistent, but after that response from you it's impossible to take you seriously on the subject because of your bias. If you had stated that Bush was just as guilty in your mind than I could have understood your point even if I disagreed with you about either of them being socialist, but when you are so blatantly partisan your comments just can't be taken seriously on that topic. Having been on both sides of the aisle that's a big thing of mine. Criticism is fine, but be consistent.

Now back to the thread at hand even using your idea of an him making an analogy doesn't take away from the fact it was a violent one directed at the President both this past weekend and back in 2009. I oppose that kind of garbage whether it's Obama and Nugent or Eddie Vedder and President Bush.

All that said this thread is about Nugent making violent remarks towards a President. By all means start up a Anti-Obama thread if you wish, but at least attempt to stay on topic.

OK Roody I'm calling you out, you are a blatant LIAR, here is what I said:

All are the infrastructures of our economy, he wants to control them all.
See the part in bold, I DISAGREE, disagree doesn't mean "give a pass" and if you look back at other threads I have condemned Bush for this as well as Obama. So I have no credibility because you say so LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are the biggest question dodger I have ever seen and always try to call out others without ever backing your own statements - HIPOCRIT, your a joke and I have no respect for you whatsoever.

You are so full of it I have no idea how you can look at yourself. That proves nothing. You said Bush wasn't a socialist, but Obama was and yet they supported the same thing. I am aware you dinged Bush, but that wasn't my comment. It was your use of socialist for one and not the other. Your statement was "Hell No" regarding Bush being a Socialist for those two issues and yet Obama was. Your partisanship and hypocrisy is showing.

Do yourself a favor next time. Learn to read and comprehend before shooting off at the mouth. As for me I answered every question you asked and you know it and post #52 in that thread is yet another example of it.

As for your lack of respect for me seeing as how you have been caught in a contradiction I can live with your lack of respect. It's not important for me to have it.
