Got a new toy in my driveway

Picked up a Dodge RAM 1500 SLT and brought her home yesterday...traded in my old Jeep. Wife got a new car this past weekend too, a 2012 Kia Sportage...we traded in her 2008 Kia Sportage for it. Love it.
Here's pics of my new truck.
2009 model, had 29k miles. Dodge Certified...100k mile warranty for me.
HEMI 5.7...390hp, 5 spd auto w/manual shift, dual exhausts, Alpine stereo system, sunroof, power options
Pics are from dealer ad..haven't taken any myself yet, but brought the truck home yesterday.

    Nice color.

    Hemi!

I always wanted one of those trucks just because of the Hemi. Dodge and the Hemi go way back.

My first HEMI. Impressive engine, incredible "press you back into the seat" acceleration. Looking at online tests, 0-60 times seem average about 7 seconds for the quad cabs. Stuff like highway accel...say 60 - 90, is awesome.

Nice truck... Now you have room to put the bike or hook up a trailer when coming down for bike week/biketoberfest

The quad cab (less rear seat leg room than the larger Crew Cab) gives me juuuust enough bed length for Josie (my Dyna).

If it fits that's great. Still, getting it on and off would be a chore (you can't have too much of an incline on the ramp, you have to use soft straps, can't cover it during hauls because flapping covers can damage the paint job..)

Got ramps....got soft straps...I've trailered her a few times. Not worried about covering it..she ain't a garage queen, she gets ridden pretty much 11 months out of the year...even out in the rain.

Gonna haul in the pickup for longer trips....top of New Hampshire 'n Vermont....my bad back can't deal with that kinda long ride, wifes butt good for about 2 hours on the pillion until gotta take couple of hour breaks.
