Yup...buddy of mine asked me to build him a honking flight sim gaming rig just for this. Gonna do an i7 with 16 gigs of RAM, honking vid card to triple monitors.

I also remember a member that was huge into flight sims. I remember we all donated money to get him a nice flying stick or something along those lines. Can't think of who, Blebs maybe?

Yep, I'm going to get it.

Talk about overkill, I bought SiSoft Sandra and I thought I bought eight one gig sticks of ram, tuns out I bought four gig sticks. 24 gigs of ram, talk about way overkill.

I think I bought the first game the first time it came out. I thought it was the most amazing thing in the world. I also really like Falcon 4.0. I know they've made some changes to Falcon but I would really like to find a nice aviation fighter game. Are there any out there?

Hard to say Easto, theres a few on Steam under the simulation section. Their styles vary a lot though.

Yes sir and I still thank you all for that. Haven't got to fly as much as I'd like too, but it's the closest that I'll ever get to being back in the left seat like I was years ago. You all saved my butt from going insane after surgery that I nearly didn't make it out of.

    I'm bummin. I don't have a Dual Core CPU.

If you meet the other minimum requirements, and have a decent video card I would still give it a shot.

I'll give it a try. What can it hurt? My old XP machine bit the dust, so I got the only thing I could afford at the them and got a Compaq CQ5600Y tower. Good enough for what all I do and while some say this processor is slow, you can't convince me they're right. I think it's pretty darn fast for what it is.

I appreciate the offer, but there are more important issues to deal with than this computer. I'm screwed with medical bills, household items that are old and failing, etc.
