    Help please hardware problem

NEC DVD DUAL LAYER ND 3550-A IS MY E:/ IS THE MASTER, NEC DVD DUAL LAYER ND 3500AG F:/ IS MY SLAVE

Both are enabled in bios just that way......Now I would of thought that the slave drive (f was the one that would not read.. However such is not the case and its the master drive that is not reading the disk. Can any one help me with this.

yep cleaned em up both of them. thanks

What are you trying to do here? Sounds like a bad drive, Remove the drive and try each one alone, These are IDE drives? If so, Are the jumpers on the back of the drive set properly? If its an 80 strand ide, set them to CS? If not, Master at thew end of the cable and slave at the bottom
