Unhappy Win7 64bit system won't let any Google products install!!

This isn't just about Google Chrome, it's when I try to install ANY google service on my PC. I just tried to install Google Music Manager and like Chrome and the Voice exe's, I will download it, and then the install will begin, the Mouse cursor will show the green circular activity install icon beside it and then nothing. It just stops with no sign of anything happening at all. I have no clue why this is happening and really hope someone can shed some light onto this.

If you have UAC turned off set it back to the recommended setting and try again. I don't know why but turning UAC off screws up some software installs. The install goes to the point where you would get the UAC prompt and then just stalls.
I don't know the same things you don't know.

What antivirus? What firewall? Any other programs security or otherwise running in the background? Did this all of a sudden start, new or old install of Windows?

Glad you got it working. Stuff like that where you don't even get an error message can leave you pulling your hair out. Assuming you still have some left.

I'll never look at it again unless they come out with a native sandbox feature. Even IE9 has a basic sandbox now. Hence..why Firefox has fallen to 3rd place for browser security.

I like FF with adblock as well, but Chrome is good too.
