    Big issue after running Optimizer

    Hey guys,

I've got a massive issue after running the TCP/IP Optimizer, somehow my download throughput is down to 30kb/s, whereas on other PC's it is clearing 700kb/s.

I have tried reverting back to the Windows default settings and resetting winsock/tcpip, but it doesnt seem to have improved it.

I also restored back to the first backup that Optimizer takes, and that hasn't helped.

My current settings are at the default, which are :

I'm sorry to hear about the issue.

What was the speed before using the Optimizer ?
Generally, when you reset TCP/IP & Winsock you're back to the stock Windows 7 settings.

You can start the optimizer, and after hitting the "Apply changes" button, compare the "Old value" and "Default value" columns - it lists all modified settings, compared to the Windows Defaults.
If those are the same, you should probably look elsewhere for the problem, NIC drivers, cabling, etc. Please keep us updated.

I managed to sort it out, the speeds are now the same as my other PC's.

To be honest, I'm not too sure what I did to resolve the issue. It kind of just decided to go back to normal :\

Thanks for the concern though, it looks to be OK.
