    Exclamation Firefox Extreme Speed Edition - Unlock & Maximize Firefox Performance !

    FESE II Released !!!

    Download : http://sourceforge.net/projects/fese...p.exe/download

    Main Features :

    + New User Interface
    + Lastest Tete build based on Firefox 6
    + IDMcc compatible with Firefox 6
    + Speed Addons integrated
    + More stable
    In short : just setup & run, no need to tweak , it's already tweaked !!!

    Instruction

    Alt+D => Address bar
    Windows+D => Desktop

    2 shortcuts you will use frequently in New Interface !

    Speed Addons Clips

    Use ABP effectively

    Use ImglikeOpera effectively

    Load 1 image : Right click > Load image
    Load Multiple images from selection : select > Ctrl+Right click
    Load all images : nhấn Alt+M

    Use Noscript effectively

    Useful script : vozforums.com => Allow
    Ads script : liti.vn,frzz.net => Forbid

    Use Stop Autoplay effectively

    Speed Addons (ABP+ILO+NS+SA) will prevent Firefox from eating RAM & CPU effectively, now check your CPU & RAM Usage & see the diff !

    Notes:

    Whatever Web browser you use, you have to face the DEFRAGMENTATION ISSUES of your HDD , so RAMDISK will be a cure ! Best RAMDISK for XP is Vsuite RAMDISK, Win 7 is Dataram . Just create a RAMDISK then copy FESE II folder to RAMDISK, you're done !

    VsuiteRAMDISK config for XP , create RAMDISK then copy FESE II folder to it :

    DataRam RAMDISK config for Win 7 , when done reboot your comp

    How to import data from Firefox & FESE II ?

    Indicate Firefox profile : about:support > Open Containing Folder > Copy to FESEII\PortableData\AppData\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\Feseprof.default\

    Bookmark & History => places.sqlite
    Password => Signons.sqlite & key3.db
    Addons => extensions folder
    Cookies => cookies.sqlite
    Firefox Options & Addon Options => prefs.js
    Form => formhistory.sqlite & search.sqlite
    Download => downloads.sqlite
    Site preferences => localstore.rdf
    Adblock Plus Filter => patterns.ini
    Sun Spider Benchmark

    Test with Comp Spec : CPU E5200, RAM DDRII 800, HDD SATA2 7200rpm.

    If Firefox is somehow so slow that you need such ""utilities", get a new computer.

    If Firefox is slow on your new computer, you're doing it wrong.

    Firefox works just fine when I decide to use it. Don't need a utility.

    Looks good, running any portable browser from a Ramdisk should be very fast (especially when starting, and unless you're using a SSD)... After the initial start, you wouldn't gain that much speed probably, as program run from memory. You'd still gain some performance from the drive not being trashed by temp files (you can accomplish this by simply pointing the temp directory to a RAM disk ?)

    I'm just not sure about that particular Firefox distribution, the project doesn't seem to have a long history and much credibility ? I'd personally use Firefox portable, or some other browser that's credible and updated on a regular basis.
    Linux is user friendly, it's just picky about its friends...
    Disclaimer: Please use caution when opening messages, my grasp on reality may have shaken loose during transmission (going on rusty memory circuits). I also eat whatever crayons are put in front of me.

    It's distributed by Tete Atelier (Japanese) : http://www1.plala.or.jp/tete009/en-US/software.html

    He've built PGO (SSE2 Optimized FF verion) from 2009 : SHiretoko (FF3.5), Namoroka (FF3.6), Tumucumaque (4.0) & Aurora (5.0)

    As you can see Sun Spider benchmark , his builts always perform faster than the Original ! That's why it's integrated to FESE !

    you can accomplish this by simply pointing the temp directory to a RAM disk ?
    Did you mean about:config tweak ? No, FESE is a portable Firefox itself (got source from T.Haller http://portableapps.com) so Profile, Cache, FF Source all-in-one run from RAMDISK ! FF source got from Tete build then applied to App Folder !
