    Had some fun with a Customer Service rep

    We had been waiting for a response from Kaiser letting us know our application for health insurance had been accepted and was in place. After several phone calls and getting various reposnses I gave it a week and then tried again. The young lady I reached, who I think was giving it her best, failed! After she was done talking I politely thanked her and then told her that she had just given me an earfull of "customer service speak". I was very calm and polite and pointed out that she had told me absolutely nothing and that I didn't know anything more about our situation than when I first called. After a very brief moment you could almost hear her bowing her head in shame and she quietly say "I know".

    Stuff CSR's tell you now are 98% scripted.. get used to it.
