Drivecrypt Plus doesn't recognise encrypted drive - help!

My PC with a drivecrypt plus encrypted partition blew up. So I had to reinstall windows xp . I had my original key (not an export - but the original). I managed to login to drive-crypt with the key by using the password but the encrypted drive is not recognized as an encrypted drive.

Technical support replied with this:

To access your data you did should had save both keys. First Key that you have created to access files and other of encrypt HD. DO you have both keys?

But I don't ever recall creating 2 keys, only the one.
