'chit chat' or not,the entire site is considered a tech help site,and either way,I made a post asking for something,and it got nothing,again,IMO this site has gone to $hit and anyone who does not see that is blind.

I have mine hooked up from the pc's to the home theater and then back again to display video on my monitors using pnp...
I think what will bring a spark back to the forums is if we brought back the every 1000 post giveback threads!!
Dan I'm going through the same thing with another forum. Not sure what to blame, but I think Facebook and Twitter have severely dented regular forums. I don't know. It's like the Ebb and Flow of the tide with forums.

FB damages more than just forums... but that's a whole other discussion. The damn site has almost gotten worse than World of Warcraft.

I say we hold a vote to not have political discussions on this site..it's a tech forum not a political forum as there are plenty of those.

Forums have never been great for instant answers. Ya SG is a dying forum, its easy to see, but on any forum you can't expect an answer by 2 hours, unless its an easy question or common one.
I'm sorry to disagree, but in the general forum, you should be able to discuss whatever. I realize that the nation is divideded politically and that some people stand behind their beliefs like a steel vault, but everyone should have the ability to act like an adult, respect like an adult, behave like an adult and just plain be an adult. I know that's asking a lot from some people, but hey.
