    Cell Phone Carriers

    What Carrier is everybody using?

I can assume most of you probably don't do any real traveling.
I obviously do quite a bit of traveling since I drive a truck OTR.

I am currently using T-Mobile, I can say their customer service is outstanding, but that does not do me any good if the coverage area is full of holes.

I am using Verizon for Mobile Broadband. That's what I am leaning towards.

    ideas/thoughts?

    thnks

I think you couldn't go wrong with verizon or AT&T IMO,they both have great coverage and very similar features and prices.
    I drive for a living too,I am all over california,and rarely do I lose signal,I have AT&T.

My mother has AT&T here in CT and the service is pretty spotty. She doesn't lose signal much but the quality goes to **** at some point during almost every call.

Depends on your region. AT&T and Verizon are the two biggies for coverage. You travel a lot...so it's hard to choose one over the other..but honestly, can't go wrong with either.
I travel a lot..but just in 3 states (CT, RI, NY) Verizon is best coverage for me.

Also the cell phone you choose makes a difference...even with the same carrier.

Next...since they're rolling out 4G and its lower frequency...coverage is MUCH better and far reaching than 3G. Spots that were dead with 3G have a good chance of picking up a good signal with 4G..so in other words..you're going to see coverage get much better over the next year for all areas.
