    I know everyone has their favorites on this subject...Both look great but I have always had better experiences with Asus boards and those Asus boards look amazing. I will probably keep my P5Qpro and my quad xeon for at least one more generation before considering an upgrade. I'm having trouble trying to decide what GPU to get next....my 9800gt is getting slow

    Both do look nice. I've had great luck with Gigabyte and horrible luck with Asus boards.

    Wonder how much longer my old rig with keep me content for.

    Same here....high volumes of Asus boards....simply rock a55 solid every time. The only one I've not had running from the box, was one I did a BIOS mod on and I tanked it...but that was my fault. My only BIOS flash gone bad if I recall. Versus gigabites boards....my office workstation is running on one..it's had a few hiccups, but various ones at home I've retired due to glitchiness. Some have done fine. Just not a high enough percentage to gain my confidence.

    Same here as well.. I always had great luck with Asus. I got burned by Gigabyte way back when they were one of the companies that were involed with the leaky capacitors back when the AMD Athon were out (462 socket)

    They would not give me a new board, with out charging me a abhorrent amount of money to ship the motherboard to them, and then wait for a replacement. So I went with Asus, and I still have my Asus A7N8X Deluxe motherboard... it was featured recently in Maximum PC: http://www.maximumpc.com/article/fea..._most?page=0,1

    That would sure make one nice looking installation. It's been a long time since I've gotten excited about the look of a mobo.
