Recommend Good summer tires?

ok I just put My winter tires on My car and pulled of the Falken 452 summer tires. These tires are shot after 1 summer season, less than 7k. These tires were complete crap.
Can anyone recommend the best Summer tires for wear and handling, etc.
Budget is around 600-700 for 4 tires. Size is 225/45/17

I have ]Dunlop z1 Star Specs and love the grip.

These are more on the grip side than wear (can't have both!) I run 235/45/17 on my STi and expect to get ~15-20k miles out of them (with track time)

I have these FirehawkGT on my B2000,and I had them on a passenger car a while back too,great tires,IMO

I always forget about Firestone, they don't look bad and right now there buy 3 get 1 free.
No mileage warranty which I don't care about but I would at least like to get 3 summers out of them I don't think thats asking too much.


Starter No not fixed, I think the problem is coming from the computer, its weird, but I found if I remove the neg cable and put it back on it starts. It only does this once every month to month and a half.
I left it broke the day We talked but ended up just resetting it till next time.
What it does is for no reason you go to start it and its "dead" no click no anything, no power to the radio, no power to the door locks, no security light etc. Removing the cable and putting right back on fixes everything...till next month. It has done this 3 times now in about 5 months. Weird.

ya,I like firestone,I have all my oil changes done and tires bought there,because there are so many locations and I always buy the road hazard for tires.
