    trojan tidserv request detected

Tidserv request detected...After researching this type of malware, I see how it will comprise my machine.

It seems to be getting blocked. Yet, I receive the message every so often...

Any suggestions on how to avoid further comprise from this backdoor trojan?

    Regards,

    Rob

What is the PC protected with, and what other utilities have you run a scan with?

I have symantec endpoint mr4. it has removed a few tracking cookies but thats about it.

I've you malwarebytes and it has also removed a few trojans. However, the message keeps on poping. Additionally, I get a message about an IP that is been blocked.

What is the next step I can take in order to take out this intruder.

    Thanks

Throw a whole bunch of products at it...the more products you use, since they all get say....90-95% of the bugs in your system...each product missing and finding different things, the sum of using a bunch is a more complete system.

I commonly use malwarebytes, superantispyware, MSE, Spybot Search and Destroy, Combofix, amongst other tools.
