Mb = megabit
MB = megabyte
If you pay for 1 Mb (Megabit) then 130 KB/s is about right.
Is what I got on the test and yet I barely get 130 kbps on my internet? Am I missing something here?

If you are using DSL (through a phone line), the speed you are paying for is what they SENT OUT to you. What GETS to you is dependent on your distance from the "sending point", and how many other people are using the service. I recommend doing several tests, at different times on different days to get an average. A single test on a single day only gives you a snapshot of that exact moment in time.
