Hello,

I thought I may try a different method of getting some answers as my local ISP are all retards.

I'm trying to figure out if I have a signal issue or a modem issue. A tech will be here tomorrow AM to replace it and check the lines but I thought posting some diagnostic information on here wouldn't hurt anything. Any help is appreciated.

Basically, my internet keeps dropping. It will go down for hours. The last service call I made wound up with the tech calling me and giving me a line about modems in a main office being down. Since the internet had been working now after being down practically all day, I decided to write it off.

Today it's happening again. Same exact problems. The Upstream light will start blinking, Downstream light solid. I'm thinking modem but I'm a systems guy, not networking;
