Altho, All my contacts went bye bye all of a sudden. all my text and call logs and recordings are there. but i have to add all my names to the numbers. and alot of text just came thru all of a sudden. very strange
no local numbers for my area... so its a fail for me.

I got a number yesterday.
Pretty slick, I forward all calls to that number to my current cell phone. And calls are FREE in the US!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been using it since it was called Grand Central and was a bit nervous when Google took over, since I thought that they'd kill it or change a lot of the services, but they didn't.
I have a Blackberry, so it's not as tightly integrated as it is on Android, so I have to use the GV app if I want to make the phone call look as if it's originating from my GV #.
Here is a trick to GV, if you' don't have an Android phone that I use and it works great for calling someone directly from your phone and still make it look as if the call's coming from your GV #.
