    Moving

Moving back to Misery, err Missouri.

    As I can't find a job here.

Let me re-phrase that. There are all kinds of jobs here, but I can't get anybody to hire me.
I get the interviews, but that's as far as I get.
About a month ago I had an interview for a position at Coca-Cola making $16/hr.
You guessed it, I didn't get the job.

Right now I'm working for some temp agency travelling back and forth to Waco (60 miles/day) for a whole $9/hr.

    that's all.

Good luck Bala. Things don't seem quite a bleak as they did this time last year around here. Where you moving back to, Lebanon?

I got laid off from 2 jobs in 3 months a while back, but finally hooked up with a good company about a year ago and it's been great.

    yeah.

    I guess I'm working right.

I just keep getting these temp jobs since I can't find anything else.
After having to quit driving (OTR), I worked at Aafes Distribution Center in Waco for almost a year.
That was a temp job for a year.
I started at Coca-Cola in the Plant with Spherion, and when I applied for a FT job at Coke I did not pass thru the interview and then Coke gave me the boot even as a temp.

Luckily I was able to get something else, now I'm working for the same temp agency at Alcoa in Waco, doing basically Janitorial BS Work.

I guess I should feel lucky I have a job right?
The job market is really not that bad here though.
But with the unemployment still being high, employers have a lot more to choose from.

Of course, now everybody has all the magic answers (my parents), and they're telling me how I should have been making it. And just randomly bitching me out for stupid ****.

I think I made a mistake by moving down here in the first place.

Keep your spirits up and keep trying. If it were me I'd probably look in the Springfield, Nixa, Republic area if you move back here. Things seem to be better here than in the smaller towns around.

If you end up in Springfield one day let me know, there's some decent chinese food around....
