    Need Help on a good video card for gaming

    Here is what I have ordered so far. Still trying to decide on the video card(or get my hands on a good one)

    MB GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R

    PSU SEVENTEAM|ST-850ZAF 850 RT

    CPU INTEL|CORE I7 930 2.80G R

    SSD 80G|INTEL SSDSA2MH080G2R5 R

    2 x2 MEM 2Gx2|GSKILL F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL

    DVD BURNER LITE-ON | IHAS124-04 % -

    I know, I was waiting 2 months for it.

    They are unable to meet the demand, ncix got over 2000 of them and they were sold in less then 7 hours.

    You still can go with 5870 I think it's $100 cheaper.

    It's good video card, was thinking about crossfire but it would be too expansive.

    I was able to get one this morning from newegg. As soon as i placed the order they were sold out.

    Nvidia Geforce 480 FTW!!

    They are hard to find right now with just being released but I'm sure you can grab one for around the $500 mark

    Why in the HELL would you assemble your new components on a tablecloth next to a cat? WOW...

    Wow heat riser!!!! That's over kill for size, you prob be better off going with water cooling save a ton of room and less space for dust to settle.

    But yeah I have to say that building it on a table cloth with a cat near it is bad.... static from hell and the cat fur!

    I bought the heat sink off reviews and was surprised on the size. I thought about water cooling but have never messed with it before.

    Water cooling is very easy, I've got a fanless tower that just releases the heat through the outer fins, it pushes the liquid through the hoses to the CPU and GPU. Simple to setup and cheap enough to go for vs when they first came out.

    Watercooling is something I will definately want for my next GPU at least. Have you heard the GTX4xx series fans? My god!

    I know DangerDen just released their blocks for the 4xx series and I'm sure builders like BFG will release versions with it already installed and overclocked in the coming weeks.

    It's done and this is my first ssd and boot up time is wicked fast.
