    Question the provider order tap.

First of all i want to welcome every one,

    straight to the subject.

I have a question, does the provider order tab you see if you open the local erea connection properties in windows server 2003, advanced options, provider order. does this tab affect the network performance affecting its infrastructure?

    thanks,

It's more useful when you have a multi-homed server (more than 1x NIC)...
In some cases with "odd" setups, such as running multiple network (tcp/ip with netbeui and/or ipx} protocols..it's used to adjust things.
For a single homed machine....with just TCP/IP..you won't really find a use to go in there, no changes to performance.
