Picked this up the other day.

I purchased this pistol brand new a few days ago. Custom Kimber Ultra Elite 45.

I love the 2 tone finish and the rosewood grips. This is probably the smoothest firing pistol I have ever shot.

It retailed for 1595.00 I paid 800.00 for it. I'll have to look at what I paid for the ball ammo I use for practice. When I carry it, I keep some good hollow point personal defense rounds in.

The concealed carry law in Ohio is a joke. You can carry so long as your outside and in public and have a permit, but you cannot take it into any establishments, which means you have to leave your weapon in the car or leave it at home. The way I see it, why conceal it at all.

At least there is a carry law! Living in Smellinois is the pits. I carried in the Corps for 20 years and now would be a criminal in my home state if I conceal. We can "container" carry, but in a pinch that is worthless. We have to gut the Chicago politicians and there might be a chance.

Its the same way here, although only if the establishment has a sign saying No to carrying it inside since it is a private owned building or property. However the laws are on the books to change to allow you to carry in a place that serves alcohol as long as your not drinking any and if they don't have a sign saying not to of course. At least Starbucks is doing the right thing and allowing it and I wish other places would too like local malls that have a lot of people so you can have some sort of personal defense just in case!

I have never seen a sign that says you can't bring in your gun to their establishment. At least not here. Got pics?

who is "their" your talking about? I said Starbucks allows it since there is no sign saying you can't. As for other places I'm sure I can find something but I know the local mall around here has it in their polices on their website and I'm sure has a sign somewhere up on a door but I'd have to look next time I go.
