Heh, other than Slowfari's poor speeds, its not really an issue.

I like how for memory usage lower is better, but is that true? Because the way FF, Chrome, and Opera use memory is all a bit different and each have their own benefits.

And there are a lot more important factors with browsers than which ones benchmark the best.

yeah regardless of that bench I'd still use FireFox over the rest...and I'm using Firefox tweaked and you know they didn't do that for the test but just right off a install.

And a fully tweaked FF can reduce or increase RAM usage as well as reduce load times with things like adblock and no script/no flash.

And beyond those load times those add ons and others can improve the browsing experience for a person.

Even if FF had the worst of each category, no ads and such would be enough to make me want it for most things.

Chrome has an AdBlock extension..works just as well as the one in FF.

I use it now 'n then. Guess I still use Firefox more...probably just out of habit. I don't see a big difference in performance vs FF.

Does it still require switching to dev channel and all that?

Memory (RAM) is a non-issue anymore. Memory is for use! No point in having gigs of memory unless you are going to use it.

Hard disk memory (paged disk reads & writes) is another story though.
No one has any right to force data on you
and command you to believe it or else.
If it is not true for you, it isn't true.

You can read up on that and play with it if you want, but I prefere FF with pism plugin, so FF is in a separate process, no addons/extensions and a minimal window.
