When I make my backups of photos to my external drive I've just been dragging and dropping. Since many of them are in different folders etc, I have a ton of duplicates.
So that brings me to...
What the best way (or software) to check and then delete these files?
How can I make incremental backups so I don't have to do this anymore?

Thanks Mark, I'll take a look at that one too.
In my search I came across this and I'm giving it a chance to see how it works.
