what benefits do you get from the mesh back? Is it comfortable after a few hours?

You can adjust the back position. The mesh lets you kinda sink in to it a bit, feels softer than my old chair. Only been in it for maybe an hour at a time so far but its been very comfortable. I put the back in the forward position for doing stuff on the pc like photo editing and then adjust it back more for watching TV.
