For what it's worth, I'm a BlackICE Defender user, love the program, has technical merit, etc, etc. I'll leave the details to other topics, but thanks again for doing this forum, I think it will become very active.

I would recommend this program for anyone,it does the job.. Kills connection to important exposed ports..Together with conseal Firewall and a little tweaking it makes for a great Wall....
Man if you don,t want to run Netbios over TCP/IP simply unbind it from your stack#@#^^

This program is geared more for the "Newbies on the Block" but still gives superior protection.............While I could get into why BlackIce is a good "WallProg" I won,t instead I,ll wait until you spend hunreds or thousand of $$$ implementing a full firewall...

Agreed, it's a firewall for newbies to protect themselves from other newbies. The problem is it gives a false sense of security.
