    MTU: 1450
GLobe's MTU should be 1492. Log into your modem/router and set it to 1492, MSS 1452 (if any), reboot & post new TCP ANalyzer.

You can download the user manual from this link:

    http://www.deviceden.com/download/26...l605ew/manual/

Instructions to log into the router is on page 18 and to change MTU is on page 23.

I know the user/pass of my isp, i can only d/c & connect my internet but i dont know the username and password for the advanced settings.

Okay, i found the u/p of the advanced settings but i cant edit the MTU and stuff. It doesnt show any of those in the manual.

    Is there any other way?

Standard default username and password to log into a router are

    username = admin
    password = admin or password

Oh im sorry, a bit of a misunderstanding here, i said im in the advanced settings so this assumes that i already got in, the u/p was user/user. But as i said earlier, there are no such settings found.

    Ideas?

Im not saying that you HAVE to do this, but @ least say that there's no other way or something. Can i use a TCP Optimizer with this?

Try the following with TCP Optimizer:

    General Settings tab:
    Custom settings - check
Modify All Network Adapters - check
network adapter selection - your NIC
    MTU - 1500
    TTL - 64
    Windows Scaling - uncheck
    TCP Receive Window - 63888
    MTU Discovery - Yes
    Black Hole Detect - No
    Selective Acks - Yes
    Max Duplicate ACKs - 2
    TCP 1323 Options:
    Timestamps - uncheck

    Advanced Settings tab:
Max Connections per Server - 10
    Max Connections per 1.0 Server - 10
    LocalPriority - 5
    Host Priority - 6
    DNSPriority - 7
    NetbtPriority - 8
    Lan Browsing speedup - optimized
    QoS: NonBestEffortLimit - 0
    ToS: DisableUserTOSSetting - 0
    ToS: DefaultTOSValue - 80
    MaxNegativeCacheTtl - 0
    NetFailureCacheTime - 0
    NegativeSOACache Time - 0
LAN Request Buffer Size - 32768

When you use Cablenut, make sure you leave DefaultReceiveWindow a blank!

All got a bit higher, thanks so much. Do i have to use cablenut too? ^^

Well cfosspeed says they give improved traffic shaping, why? You say it likes its a bad thing.

So i removed Cfosspeed, can i @ least know what it does to my comp?

CFosspeed is responsible in changing your MTU from 1492 to 1450. It does this because you have set it to lower ping times. But you can see from your speed test that it is not successful, probably because your connection line has signal problem.

I suggest you uninstall CFosspeed. Then use CCleaner to clean your comp and registry.

Then reboot comp and post a new TCP Analyzer report.

Rerun the custom settings I gave with the Optimizer. Then reboot comp and post a new TCP Analyzer report. Want to see if your MTU goes to 1492.
