“The most beautiful thing we can experience in life is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: for his eyes are closed.” - Albert Einstein
3 exposures for each...
Yes, the chapel is probably the best and most dramatic. I like the bike since it's my bike on a ride. It's my desktop now.
I'm buying a new tripod and a remote switch tomorrow.
Expect MUCH more...
Excellent shots, makes me want to move to Colorado. Really.
Those are the views and such that got me out there! (I'm looking forward to venturing into Denver soon for some downtown shots and so forth.)
Hopefully the camera shop has a remote switch in stock.
Awesome pictures...yeah keep them coming. Gorgeous country....if I didn't live by the ocean, that would be the kind of inland stuff I'd have to be near.
The pictures take on a quality sort like Indy does with his pics...any special effects or something you're putting them through?

Awesome pictures. The one of the chapel is my favorite.

Cat - Ya, those pictures with the crazy colors is HDR. Check it out. Really cool stuff if your camera will do it.

Have to say HDR starts to hurt my eyes after a few shots.
The landscapes with green and yellow trees...are those yellow trees Aspen?
These shots are from Castlewood Canyon State Park, about ten minutes from our house.

Humby - Yes, the yellow ones are aspens.![]()
Man, it is simply gorgeous out there.
I love where I live now too but I moved here after living in AZ for a couple years and the open space in your images reminds me of there. I miss it![]()
Yes, we picked a good spot as 10 minutes away is basically any store you could want and 10 minutes south is wide open space, state parks, etc. The Rockies are an hour away.
This place is SO much better than Ohio!
Did some mtn biking at Hidden Mesa Open Space today a few minutes south of my house (could have biked via trail - oops!). The clouds and haze sucked, but it was a neat place and I'll be back.
