So I was trying to speed up my internet connection because I'm getting much, much less than I'm paying for and I am very, very stuck.
My problem is that I average 7.2mb/s download when I'm paying for 16mb/s service. I've tried speed tests at all times during the day and even shut down all of the other computers in the house and I still get ~7mb/s. I even bypassed the router and went straight to my computer from teh modem and it still didn't increase.
I tried using the TCP patch for vista, but it didn't do anything. Is there anything you guys would suggest I do to boost my download speeds?
