Question Zone Alarm not blocking UDP Scan

When I run the UDP Scan from http://scan.sygatetech.com/ my ports are CLOSED but not blocked, why? I do use a Linksys router that also does not seem to block...I expected Zone Alarm (free version) to "stealth" me.

    Thanks for your response.

ZA Pro gives you that control.

Try setting your Internet Security Level to high if it isn`t already.

Zonealarm Pro shows "Blocked" at the test site.

Yes, I have both settings on high.

Maybe I will try Zone Alarm Pro if that will give me more security. Thanks.

Hey Twisted, is your linky set to use NAT?
And yes you should be stealth with ZA. I have never used the free version though. I know on default with Pro you will stealth. But it you active the NAT on your Linky, those type of probes will find Linky stealth and will not make it past that.

twisted..i think there's sumtin wrong wit ur set up or sumtin cuz mine says this....

We are now determining if you have firewall software blocking UDP ports on IP: 63.201.24.48
Note: this may take a while on highly secure systems...
    Testing . . .

We have determined that you have firewall software blocking UDP ports!
We are unable to scan any more UDP ports on IP: 63.201.24.48 . . .

You have blocked all of our probes! We still recommend running this test both with
and without Secure Desktop enabled... so turn it off and try the test again.

Why not download and install our Award-Winning* Personal Firewall now?

I thought that my Linky was set to NAT...how do I check to make sure?

I was also thinking that maybe the UDP scan was only hitting my Linky, where I was told that my ports are closed and not blocked. If the scan went past my router than I would hope that ZAP would kick in and stealth me.

    Possibility?
