    Failing card or moniter?

My LCD moniter has started flickering to black and back. The moniter stays on while doing this and the Win 7 system shows no errors. I am folding on both the CPU and GPU and have no errors there. Just in case my driver had gone funcky I replaced it. I don't have a spare system but I do have a spare card.

I'd guess the monitor first, but it could be the card. Does it do this a lor and how long does it last? Maybe just wait it out until the item fails completely.

    > 50% chance it's the backlight of the monitor failing.

Lasts at most a second, most of the time quicker. Was happening a lot but stopped a few hours ago. Started two days ago. If it is the light could I replace it myself when it dies or did they make it 100 times harder than it should be?

Over heating monitor? Maybe a can of air will help it.
