if the RTM comes it will be between tomorrow and July 13th... I'm guessing July 13th. All I know is that if it releases Punkbuster better be pushing out a few updates to go with it or some gamers will be pretty pissed off including myself.

You should already be pissed off. They aren't really handling Windows 7 well.

no they are not... 7127 build is the highest that is working with PB at the moment so I had to back track my install from 7260 to it to play Battlefield 2

I'm no longer running Vista since I sold my copy to someone in Oregon....full Win7 from here on out.

24giovanni, I don't know where you get some of your links, but the URLs alone just SCREAM "spyware injection."

The biggest failure of Windows 7 is the announced pricing.

your right on the money there...the pricing is way too high for what many figured would be much lower.

I plan on running the RTM release till June with a beta key and when it runs out then get a copy when I hope by then the prices come way down for at least a OEM copy.

NewEgg tweeted a link to its Windows 7 50%-off pre-order, at around 11:37 PM; 5 minutes later when I saw it, both Home Premium and Professional were sold out.

I'll just wait for the OEM prices.

Like any other software, their obligation will be to be ready for Windows 7 on the official release to public date in October.

Do you expect them to spend tons of time and resources way before that just to satisfy the 0.000021% of computers in the world right now that are running Windows 7?

You're going to endure the warning every 2 hours that will start in Feb or March?

Windows creates it on its own.
