    asking for driver

A few hours ago, i saw a request for help for choosing an appropriate fan & heatsink for a vga card . the fan info is as the folowing:
    NV-1035-c2

Actually the problem is that a friend of mine has this vga card, it has no problem with the fan or sink, but with it's missing driver for which i refered to nVidia website, but the downloaded driver did not work out. it has no info about the brand or the producer on i, but just this model: Nv gegorce FX5500

    http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_175.19_whql.html

should be it. although it states gf 6, 7 and 8 series are supported, under the "products supported" tab is shows GeForce FX 5500.

also you could try the "driver widget", accessed from www.nvidia.com -> download drivers -> driver widgit. never tried it myself.

ah, i should have first asked what operating system. the above link was for XP.

if its something different, just start at http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us , and navigate the menus (GeForce as product type, GeForce 5 FX as product series) and select the OS.
