    Internet Slower after TCP Optimizer

okay so i followed this guide
    http://forums.speedguide.net/showthread.php?t=236227

and entered the information posted into the TCP Optimizer then clicked apply, and then my download speed went from 5700 Kbps to barley 2000 Kbps

So i went back and used the program again but this time i selected Optimize instead of custom, then clicked apply. used Speedtest.net again and i did get 5600 Kbps, but the thing is, at first it bolted directley to 2000 Kbps then slowly climbed up to 5600 Kbps, but before i used the program it would jump directly to 5600 Kbps and stay that way.

i also used this to tweak

    Router:Lynksis WRT55 AG
    ISP: Road Runner

I also ran Tracing route to yahoo.com and i got this if it helps

It does look like your isp is having some spikes on hop4 so they could working on something the first three looked great. I would just leave the settings alone and wait it out since it looks like it's not on your end.
