Need advice on personal water purifiers

What's the best? Not interested in online reviews but rather personal experience. Need something that can process 700litres before needing to be discarded or the filtration unit replaced. Lifestraw is not for sale in US yet so that counts that out. TIA

I'm interested too. It doesn't actually have to be the best but I don't want one that fits on a facet. I tried a PUR but the adaptors that came with it and the ones they sent, didn't fit my facet and I'm not going to change it out so it looks like I need one that fits under the counter.
