P3 450
256 megs ram
Abit BE6 MoBo ata66
QF ata 66 9.1 gb 7200 rpm
v3 3000 at 185mhz
I tried to OC my P3 450 just to 504 now not a big leap yet but .....
I reboot it reads 504 great !!!
reboot after playing some games then it reads p2 300 Why is it not staying at 504 ?? Could this mean I can't OC my Pentium ? I still run orginal bios with the mobo could this be the problem ? Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

It take many nails to build crib, but one screw to fill it
It seems to me you raised your bus speed and lowered your multiplyer to get the desired clock speed, leave the multiplyer alone. If your PIII was purchaced in the last 6 mo, its not overclockable.
Fatal, Do you play Tribes? Used to play with Northen Cross? Do you know Wulfen?
BTW, I think a MOBO Driver/BIOS update couldn't hurt. I read alot of reviews about how that can do wonders for a mobo. I took my MSI 6130 right out of the box, hooked everything up, including a brand new GeForce, and promptly over clocked my Celeron 400 to 500 using 6x83@2.05 volts. Its kind of sloppy in UT, and in windows it still hangs, but I think a tad more voltage and a Driver/Bios update will probably help out on that. Lemme know how you do.
