it is for the Socket A-462 only....
I had a chance to get a cheap Titan Majesty V cooler, and the dealer told me that the Socket A version would fit on my CPU as well. I have a Slot 1 mobo with a Slocket riser card, which has a Socket 370 for my Celly 433. Now when I tried to fit that monster on my CPU, I couldn't get it on, and I didn't want to apply too much force. Now my question is: is it supposed to fit in the first place? The box reads that the Titan V is designed for Socket 462, and nothing else.
Anyone with some ideas on this issue? I don't wanna go back to the store complaining without a bit more knowledge about this.
Cheers,
Ronald

Whoops, sorry, you're right, it rather belongs here. But do you have any knowledge about this issue? Is the cooler format the same for Socket 370 (pga) and Socket 462 (a)?Originally posted by Brent:
