looking for a new wireless router, need some help

ok so I need a new wireless router, my current netgear 614 is getting on my nerves. im looking for a wireless router for gaming on ps3 and surfing the net on a laptop. the ps3 and the laptop are wireless g.

im looking for a router that has good range, is fast in g and is stable, the netgear drops connection a lot.
im looking at the d link dir 655, its n but I figure it should have decent performance too right?? should I look for a g only router??

    any recommendations?? thanks

The 655 seems to be well liked. As is their 4500 gaming router.

IMO no reason not to get an N model these days, the increase is range alone over G is well worth it. Clients benefit from the increase in range even if they're just G or even old B.
