I can't believe how high Florida state jumped just by beating VATech last week.. lol I mean wow!
no picks from me this week...too many shake ups will happen its really hard to point any out.
Cinci lookin good tonight... already up over USF
It's good to see the Florida schools slowly getting back to their old ways.
FSU is back in the top 25 because they only have 1 loss and they still maintain a decent schedule although not quite SEC level.. but still strong. Even though they are probably the most predictable team in the nation (their coaching methods havent changed in decades behind Bowden), they still play hard and win.
Miami will be back in the running in a couple years.. They have more starting freshman than just about any div1 school in the nation and they also have a lot of speed. Even in their down years, they've consistently produced some of the best NFL players.
UF just needs to keep it together and win this week against GA.. That's the game of the week in my book. Go Gators!
I still think USF is a bit overrated this year compared to last year but I hope they can get a bowl game at least.. errr.. didn't realize they lost tonight.. lol oh well.

Florida is just killing Georgia. I figured Florida would win by double digits, but wow.
Texas Tech is having their way with Texas right now.
Well USC just wrapped up a 56-0 win over Washington.![]()
Seriously doubt they will be ahead of USC if Texas loses tomorrow, but they may be before the season is over. Guess we will see though. Ultimately a Texas Tech win would put Alabama and Penn State in the drivers seat for the title game. Penn State would almost be a lock. Alabama will have a harder road due to the fact they would likely play Florida in the SEC Championship game. Of course if Texas Tech wins out then they will likely be there in the title game.
Long and short of it is that there is still a bit more ball to be played before we know for certain.
Win or lose tonight Texas is still a better ball team than USC... USC - lost to a nonranked , texas to #7 I mean there isn't much more to say. Texas Tech shouldn't be behind USC right now as I said in another thread..the damn polls are just screwed up and I'm sick of it.
No offense dude but your argument doesn't wash. It was you who stated that Va. Tech deserved to go to the title game last year over LSU even though LSU clobbered your boys. Certainly that was last year, but the general principle is the same even if Texas and USC haven't played this year. In fact with no certainty since Texas and USC haven't played one could make a greater argument for USC and/or Texas this year then any Va. Tech argument last year.
All that said it's certainly possible that Texas will remain ahead of USC. I wouldn't be surprised if they did just as I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't. Texas has a heckuva team. Defensively they aren't near as good as USC, but offensively they are a little better.
Speaking of another team ahead of USC Oklahoma is just steamrolling Nebraska tonight. Not surprised at all though.
Texas and Tech game was just crazy!! I am exhausted
Definitely a crazy game. I do think Sava will likely be correct in that Texas will probably stay a little ahead of USC although who knows really. It will be interesting to see where Texas Tech moves too. I would think they would have to move up to #3 in the country after tonight.
If I was a betting man I would say the following.
1. Alabama
2. Penn State
3. Texas Tech
4. Texas
5. Oklahoma
6. USC
Just finished the TX/TT game. A-freakin-mazing.
I can't believe that TX guy missed the interception. I guess that's why he's not a receiver.
I hate to say anything as I don't want to jinx my team.
I finished the week 14-5 to take my record overall to 149-41.
Sounds like someone needs to move to Vegas!
