Depending on the router/firewall you are protecting this server with....you can block any traffic from that IP address or range coming over port 7000. Most of the better hardware firewalls have ACL features which will do this.

I take it when you say they are "dossing" you..you mean they're running denial of service attacks on your box? The data center which you host your server at should also be able to put up ACLs at your request.

What game runs on SQL? That's such a slow bloated engine.

    Game name: legend of mir3
Their attacking the run gate of LegendMir3 = one of the gates
this is the log of rungates

I guess only one of the IP is attacking me and rest are fakes me
    using the Belkin N1 router
How can i block the constant DDOS without blocking the players out or without changing the PORT number of rungate

And when i change the port to 7001 the dos attacking stops.. but i dont wanna change ports because my usercount program wont run if i block port 7000

Also heard when im being dossed it should only show 1 ip but how come its so many?

I been runnin this server for almost over 6months and never had ip's flood in like this before

Having SQL services exposed to the public...you will be the target of exploit attempts...it is a very daring service to have available on the public interface. Frequent attacks on it will be the daily routine. I would make sure it is maintained with OS and SQL patches.

I don't see an antivirus icon in the systray.

The frequent IP addresses which the attacks appear to come from..if your server co-lo host does this for you..have him put blocks in an ACL for your server. If you have your server behind your own firewall..see if your firewall supports putting blocks in its ACL.

    ACL is Access Control List.

It's rules in your firewall. Example..you can tell your firewall to drop specific...or all...traffic from a certain IP address.

Or you can tell the firewall to allow any..or specific....traffic between itself..or just another IP address out there..or range of IPs..or all IPs.

With servers, it is desired to always have good server grade antivirus on them, as you wish to protect the operating system. Especially one connected to/exposed to the internet. It is common for many applications to not like any antivirus "sniffing" them....which is why most server grade antivirus products allow you to set "exclusions". You add directories or files in their exclusion list..and they keep their nose from sticking into those directories or files.

Ahh...a Belkin router....I take it this "server" is not hosted in a data center then? But home?

Is this "server" a server operating system? Like Windows Server 2000 or Windows Server 2003? Or a desktop operating system like Windows 2000 Pro, or Windows XP?
