    Wireless Router Connectivity Issues

    I am having major issues with my Wireless Router (Netgear WGR614v6)

    1. Connecting the Wireless Router to my old gateway modem - I can connect my laptop to the Router Wirelessly
    2. Connecting my Wireless Router to my work network - I can connect my laptop to the Router Wirelessly
    3. Standalone, connected to power only - I can connect my laptop to the Router Wirelessly
    4. When I connect the Wireless Router to my new gateway modem (2Wire 2071-A) I lose all Wireless connectivity - Just get an error: Unable to connect to {SSID}

    With the Wireless Router connected to the gateway modem:

    - I can get internet access if I plug my laptop straight into the gateway modem
    - I can get internet access if I plug my laptop into any one of the 4 ethernet ports on the Wireless Router.
    - My Laptop Intermittently connects to the Wireless Router and maintains a connection for about 5 seconds before disconnecting (very rare though)
    - My laptop has no issue connecting to any other wireless devices.
    - All devices in my house (Laptop1, Laptop2, PDA, Wii) have problems now (previously all ok) when trying to connect to the Wireless Router (they don't connect at all either)

    I've tried just about everything and connot figure out what the problem is...
    ISP will not help at all and have "absolved" themselves of any blame.

    Is your new wireless router running in access point mode? The 2Wire unit should already be running as a router. To add another router to that can lead to IP range conflicts, double NAT'ing, etc.

    What IP range is the 2Wire?
    And your new router?

    The gateway modem/router IP address is 10.0.0.138 - It issues IP's via DHCP on 10.0.0.1 - 10.0.0.99

    The Wireless Router has a WAN IP Address of 10.0.0.1 - It issues IP's via DHCP on both Ethernet & Wireless on 192.168.0.1 - 192.168.0.52

    As I mentioned - Ethernet works no problem, Wireless just wont work.
