Losing my internet connection every day

I have a 50/10 Mbit/s cable connection from my ISP Com Hem and I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit. This is my result from TCP Analyzer:

I keep losing my internet connection several times every day. It goes away for a few seconds and then comes back again. It's really annoying when you're using an application that requires you to stay connected. I've noticed that one of the lights that is always lit on my cable modem goes out for these few seconds. I don't think it's a problem with the cable modem itself though since I've had this issue with my previous modem too. I'm using a D-Link DIR-655 router and I'm wondering if that might be the problem? Here's a log from when I lost my connection one time:

I have no idea what settings to change to possibly fix this but if anyone could offer any help, that'd be great.

Should be a tab called signal or diagnostic in the modem config page.

    192.168.100.1

When clicking on the Signal tab (or any tab other than System) I get a message saying "This feature has not been enabled in your cable modem.". The only info I can get is this:

I notice your in amsterdam, and I am in USA, tx; but I have recently been experiencing the "Blocked incoming ICMP packet (ICMP type 8)" blocked address on my DIR-655 router. I even updated my router firmware, and still had the same problem. On, RoadRunner-TWC internet cable provider.
After contacting my provider with the list of ip's that were actually registered to the same ISP , they informed me that the ip address responsible for the Blocked incoming ICMP packet (ICMP type 8) connections were other customer's computers. After confirming that none of my friends, or VOIP friends didn't use that connection I reported the log information to my ISP's abuse email , as well as the customer's ISP abuse email account.

    Waiting for replies.
