Ever since Led Zeppelin’s reunion show at London’s O2, there have been rumors about the band reuniting to do a full tour. Robert Plant at first did not want to be a part of it. Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham have been rehearsing and entertaining the idea of touring without Plant.
They even have rehearsed with several singers; one American singer was so good they were ready to hit the road with him. Page, Jones and Bonham have been quite antsy to get something together and tour.
When Plant heard about this standout singer, he started to think about the situation, and this is what finally persuaded him to come back to the band.
One source reported, “When Robert realized the band were serious about doing it without him, it made him think long and hard. He realized he couldn’t face the thought of not being involved. The band were over the moon when he told them the news. They are now forging ahead with the tour plans and they can’t wait to get on the road.” Get excited and get the Led out, summer tour 2009 awaits.

This is so exciting, sure they may not be quite what they used to but I am so glad that I will get to see Led Zeppelin in concert!!
I can see it now...$350.00 for noise bleed tickets.

I’d like to see Zeppelin but there’s no way I could afford to go with the way tickets are priced these days.

Great show, you could almost smell the whiskey fumes.
I'd give my left nut to see them but don't think I could without selling my truck. Even then I don't think I'd have enough.

Plant isn't with the program. Although the rest of the band may still be on.
