Led Zeppelin to tour the summer of 2009

After many rumors of Led Zeppelin touring without Robert Plant, Plant himself caved and will be joining the band.

    Matt Kappel

Ever since Led Zeppelinís reunion show at Londonís O2, there have been rumors about the band reuniting to do a full tour. Robert Plant at first did not want to be a part of it. Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham have been rehearsing and entertaining the idea of touring without Plant.

They even have rehearsed with several singers; one American singer was so good they were ready to hit the road with him. Page, Jones and Bonham have been quite antsy to get something together and tour.

When Plant heard about this standout singer, he started to think about the situation, and this is what finally persuaded him to come back to the band.
One source reported, ďWhen Robert realized the band were serious about doing it without him, it made him think long and hard. He realized he couldnít face the thought of not being involved. The band were over the moon when he told them the news. They are now forging ahead with the tour plans and they canít wait to get on the road.Ē Get excited and get the Led out, summer tour 2009 awaits.

I'm guessing $125 for the nose bleed sections if this is true.

I no longer care about Led Zeppelin, Van Halen or Guns and Roses tour info, I got tired of all the hoopla.

You maybe right, I just remembered the Stones playing here and Gen admission was like $300.00 back in the early 90's

Thatís quite the contrast compared to when I paid $18.50 in 1981 to see the Rolling Stones in the Superdome.

Iíd like to see Zeppelin but thereís no way I could afford to go with the way tickets are priced these days.

huh, I saw them in Raleigh NC in the '91 or so and they were only $50 or $60 best as I can remember.

Great show, you could almost smell the whiskey fumes.

I'd give my left nut to see them but don't think I could without selling my truck. Even then I don't think I'd have enough.

    Ack....it's bogus...

Plant isn't with the program. Although the rest of the band may still be on.

Like what, a continuity checker? That thing would be going off all the time around this place...

    Sad news though...
