    Roundeye just called. Good news

He just wanted everyone to know that they are all ok.

The power may be out for a couple of week though as they have poles down all over the city.

    Good to hear!

If we can get MadDocs wife to give up her battery collection we can send all those batteries to him and he'll have enough juice to run a town for several days.

I'm sure that collection is spent as it is...

Good news!, I like good news.

I was reading in our Toronto Beer Store magazine today, that "Holmes on Homes" is heading down there to "Make it right", helping rebuild the 9th ward.

Well the phone lines were along the lines of Marconi or Tesla science, I believe.

I was wondering how bad it hit where he is located. I would be very happy if all that happened was no electricity. Yeah, it is important and convenient to have, but there were no other damages. Thank God!

He did mention that they had a tree uprooted and it's laying across the driveway and some damage to a roof but they are all ok.

I am glad that he is ok..

I'm keeping a eye on Hanna, Ike and the new Tropical Storm Josephine.
It looks like my area may be hit next..
