    What he means is that the ATA100 is supported onboard. The KT7 and A7V needed separate controllers for their ATA100 support. Abit uses Highpoint (or something like it) I believe and Asus used Promise.

    I copied this from their PR. I believe what is means is that BOTH of the IDE channels on the KT7A are ATA100, where as on the KT7, only one of the two IDE channels supports ATA100.

    Ok, I know about the blue controllers being the only ATA 100 compatible ones, but what about the regular black ones? Are they at least ATA66??
